Description
I was reading lore on the Thieves Guld and had the idea to split this FDOSS into 2 segments:
Thieves Guild Mercer Frey Edition - FDOSS
Thieves Guild Dragonborn Edition - FDOSS
Essentially when the player character initially joins the Thieves Guild you get to hear all about how poorly they have been doing. This is because there is betrayal and theft going on within the Guild.
After completing the Main Thieves Guild Questline, the Thieves Guild's Power gets restored and the organization becomes much more efficient at what they do. Gold starts flowing again and the Guild becomes prosperous like it once was.
What is the Difference between Mercer Frey Edition and Dragonborn Edition:
One is created to be used for your game while Mercer Frey is in charge of the Thieves Guild. It contains less outfits and more standard thieves outfits, to show it's members are surviving rather than thriving.
The other is created to be used after the Dragonborn completes the main Thieves Guild Questline. It contains all outfits in the Dragonborn Edition, and an additional -- Outfits from -- Armors. These will be mixed in with the distribution cycle and you will visibly see the Thieves Guild prospering again.
How to use these 2 segments:
As we all know by now SPID mods are 100% safe to enable/disable mid game due to the nature of how SPID works. I have been doing this 2 years with zero issues ever.
Starting off the game you play along with the Mercer Frey Edition, seeing the more standard thieves outfits on its fellow members.
You can disable the first FDOSS and enable the Dragonborn Edition after either: 1. Completing Main Thieves Guild Questline or 2. Completing Main Questline and Restoring Thieves Guild Influence by Completing the 24 Jobs for Delvin and Vex. Now the Thieves Guilds embodies it's new wealth and it can be shown by the fancier Thieves outfits on it's members. They are no longer surviving but are thriving.
