By accessing or using www.TamrielMods.com ("TamrielMods", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use TamrielMods.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use TamrielMods, create an account, or purchase TamrielMods Premium.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and must not impersonate another person or use another person's account without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Site, engage in fraudulent activity, or threaten the security of TamrielMods or its users.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not use TamrielMods to:

Break applicable law;
Distribute malware or other harmful content;
Attempt to hack, disrupt, interfere with, or damage the Site;
Access another user's account without permission;
Circumvent access restrictions or security measures;
Abuse, exploit, or interfere with TamrielMods services; or
Distribute content you do not have the necessary rights or permission to distribute.

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable action when these rules are violated.

4. Intellectual Property

Mods, game assets, trademarks, and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.

You may not claim another creator's work as your own or redistribute content unless you have the necessary permission or legal right to do so.

Unless otherwise stated, the TamrielMods website, branding, original text, graphics, design, and other original Site content are owned by or licensed to TamrielMods and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

5. Bethesda Disclaimer

TamrielMods is an independent website and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, ZeniMax Media, Microsoft, or any other game developer or publisher.

All third-party trademarks, game assets, names, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

6. TamrielMods Premium

TamrielMods may offer a paid Premium membership that provides access to additional features, content, downloads, or other benefits described on the Site.

The specific content and benefits included with Premium may change over time as TamrielMods is updated and developed. We will not remove or materially reduce paid benefits in a manner that violates applicable consumer law.

Premium access is personal to the account that purchased it and may not be resold, transferred, shared, or used to provide unauthorized access to other people.

7. Payments

Payments for TamrielMods Premium are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal.

By purchasing Premium, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you select for the amount displayed to you at checkout.

TamrielMods does not directly store your complete credit or debit card details. Payment information is processed by the applicable payment provider.

You are responsible for providing accurate and current payment and billing information.

8. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal

If you purchase Premium as a recurring subscription, your subscription will automatically renew at the billing interval and price disclosed to you at checkout unless you cancel it before the next renewal.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method for each renewal until the subscription is cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription using the cancellation options provided through your account or the applicable payment provider.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Your Premium access may continue until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

9. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Except where otherwise stated on the Site or required by applicable law, payments already made are generally non-refundable.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer right that you are entitled to under applicable law.

Where applicable law provides a right to withdraw from a contract for digital content or digital services, that right may be affected once access or performance begins where you have expressly requested immediate access and acknowledged the applicable consequences for your withdrawal rights.

10. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, refunded, or otherwise cannot be successfully collected, we may suspend or remove the associated Premium access where permitted by applicable law.

We may restore access after the payment issue has been resolved.

11. Pricing and Changes to Premium

Prices, Premium benefits, and subscription options may change from time to time.

Any price applicable to your purchase will be displayed before you complete the transaction.

For recurring subscriptions, material price changes will be communicated where required by applicable law and will not be applied contrary to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Downloads and Third-Party Content

Mods and other downloadable content may depend on third-party games, software, modifications, tools, or services.

We do not guarantee that every download will be compatible with every game version, operating system, mod configuration, or other software environment.

You are responsible for reviewing installation instructions, compatibility requirements, and other information provided with downloads.

13. Site Availability and Liability

We do not guarantee that TamrielMods, its downloads, Premium services, or its content will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with your software.

You use mods and downloadable content at your own risk. You should maintain appropriate backups before installing or modifying game files or other software.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TamrielMods is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from your use of the Site, its downloads, or its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, or limits any statutory rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to TamrielMods where a user violates these Terms, engages in fraud or abuse, compromises Site security, or uses the service unlawfully.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation before termination.

Termination or suspension does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination and does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting existing paid subscriptions.

16. Privacy

Your use of TamrielMods is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and handled.
